Just checking to see what you are up to. Why do I have this image on you on a rattly old tour bus teetering through some mountainous region?
Because I don’t live that far from the mountains? Do I have a cap saying “I love Romain Gary” and a vomit bag, because I get motion sickness in buses, especially in the mountains ?
great idea emma ,all the best stu
Thanks Stu,
Can you recommend a Welsh writer or a book set in Wales?
I can: The Welsg Girl by Peter Ho Davies (2007). I think it was nominated for the IMPAC or the Booker, I enjoyed it.
Thanks Lisa, I’m adding it to my list.
I should update this page, btw
Another idea for a Welsh book: On The Black Hill by Bruse Chatwin (he’s English, the book’s set in Wales).
Bruce Chatwin, that should be…
Great! another idea. I’ll look for it too
